The Kruger Lowveld Chamber of Business and Tourism recently held its annual awards ceremony at a lavish gala evening that had all the trappings of a grand Hollywood event.

According to the KLBT website, the ceremony is a “showcase of Excellence, rewarding outstanding business achievements, sound business practices and recognising businesses and individuals who truly make a difference within the Kruger Lowveld Community”.

The so-called “Webby Award” gives recognition to those businesses that have made an impact in the digital world – including through websites, social media, ecommerce and blogs – in the past 12 months.

As you will no doubt be aware, Centurion Systems has made massive strides in the online space, starting with an aggressive social media drive that kicked off towards the end of last year, and culminating in a complete overhaul of the company website earlier this year.

As testimony to the gravity of these remarkable achievements, we were named as one of only three finalists in line to win the coveted award, with the Lowvelder ultimately taking home the accolade.

Our very own Jacques van der Westhuizen was there to represent Centurion Systems.
